Wednesday, December 1st, 2010The Rocket Marketing Group are looking to recruit a highly driven, motivated and results orientated Business Acquisition Manager, who will be responsible for driving and identifying new targets and winning profitable new business.
Job Description
Candidates will need to demonstrate a solid track record of sales and securing new business. Working at a management level in a similar environment you’ll have the drive and motivation to make major contributions to the continued growth of the company.
The scope of the role will range from identifying targets, sourcing contact information, initial contact through to face to face negotiations and contracts. You will have strong communication skills and be an extremely commercially focused individual.
You will work very closely with, and report directly to the Managing Director.

The successful candidate will be results focused and have a proven track record. Drive and motivation will go a long way!
We are looking for:
- Excellent communication skills, both at a commercial and senior level.
- Drive to continuously seek further ways to promote the company, help identify growth markets and recommend approaches.
- Ability to develop target lists for key markets and provide support and consultancy to the Directors.
- Strong written skills to prepare persuasive documentation to support pitches.
- Strong face to face persuasion, negotiation and presentation skills.
- An ability to quickly understand the business models, competition and market trends, making appropriate recommendations to the Directors.
- A background in the Marketing Promotions and/or Incentives Industry is an advantage
- Someone who is excited about the challenges and pressures of a fast growing, fast paced, multi priority environment.
Annual Salary – £50k OTE. Basic of £25k, additional results related bonus of up to £25k.
